Competențele socio-emoționale în învățământul la zi versus învățământul la distanță și online

Rezumat

Prezentul studiu teoretic analizează diferențele dintre învățământul tradițional și cel online, explorând importanța dezvoltării competențelor socio-emoționale în domeniul învățământului. Învățământul online, comparativ cu învățământul tradițional, necesită dezvoltarea de noi abilități atât din partea studenților, cât și din partea profesorilor. Ca urmare a creșterii numărului de studenți care aleg să studieze în mediul online, precum și a faptului că există studii care atestă că factorii socio-emoționali contribuie la creșterea performanței academice, a performanței la locul de muncă și a satisfacției în viață, dezvoltarea inteligenței emoționale și a inteligenței sociale la studenții din mediul online ar ajuta la autodezvoltare, proces necesar pentru mobilizarea mai eficientă a resurselor, a timpului și a controlului mai eficient al comportamentului. Învățământul online prezintă avantajul învățării în ritm propriu și accesul la cursuri de înaltă calitate. Totodată, un posibil dezavantaj poate fi cel al lipsei unei interacțiuni constante, care însă poate fi suplinită de feedback-ul instructorului de curs, de construirea unei comunități online în care studenții să învețe și să își ofere feedback reciproc, sau chiar de un curs dedicat de dezvoltare socio-emoțională, parcurs în paralel.
